با ادامه اعتصاب غذای محمدصديق کبودوند، زندانی سياسی در ايران، سه سازمان حقوق بشری و ۱۰۰ فعال جنبش کارگری خواهان آزادی وی شدند و ۷۳ روزنامه‌نگار نيز از وی خواستند به اعتصاب خود در زندان پايان دهد.در حالی که محمدصديق کبودوند، فعال حقوق بشری و زندانی سياسی دو روز پيش اعتصاب غذای خشک خود را قطع کرد و اکنون به اعتصاب غذای تر ادامه می‌دهد؛ سازمان عفو بين‌الملل، فدراسيون بين‌المللی جامعه‌های حقوق بشر، و جامعه دفاع از حقوق بشر در ايران در بيانيه‌ مشترکی از مقامات جمهوری اسلامی ايران خواستند فورأ و بدون قيد و شرط وی را آزاد کنند.

The Times of India - Iran has allowed the Taliban to open an office in eastern Iran, and has discussed providing them with surface-to-air missiles, raising the potential for cooperation with the insurgents, senior Afghan and Western officials have said.

خبرها حاکی از صدور حکم زندان برای سه شهروند کردستانی اهل مهاباد توسط دادگاه انقلاب اسلامی این شهر است.بنا به گزارش موکریان، هویت دو تن از این شهروندان را شاهو پرتوی کارشناس علوم تربیتی و شمزین احمدنژاد دانشجوی دانشگاه پیام نور مهاباد اعلام کرده است.طبق این گزارش پرتوی که بیش از یک ماه است در زندان بسر می برد به اتهام همکاری با یک حزب مخالف به سه سال و احمد نژاد به اتهام امنیتی به یک سال حبس محکوم شده است.
