Taxi drivers are on strike in Sanandaj

HRANA News Agency – The taxi drivers have stopped their cars from Nobovvat to Sirus streets of Sanadaj and gathered in front of the taxi management organization from 9 to 11 am yesterday.

According to a report by the committee to help form worker organizations, the taxi drivers refused to work also in some other areas of Sanandaj like Shahpour, Ferdowsi, Feyz Zabad etc.

The Police and intelligence agents were threatening the taxi drivers with seizing their taxies and in the end they got the license numbers of the cars.

The taxi drivers demand for new fares according to the inflation, Subsidies for parts of the cars which has been cut since a while ago, reduce of the fuel price, employing the drivers with exact monthly salary and exact working hours.
