Shiraz University protest [File Photo] Students studying medical sciences in Iran’s Shiraz University staged a gathering protesting various restrictions, low food quality, lack of supplies needed by the students and regime officials in this university providing no responses to the students’ demands.
This gathering took place in the sleeping dormitories last Thursday evening, with students continuing their protests for hours by placing their food trays on the ground. In addition to food shortages, restrictions imposed on the students including gender segregation, separating the entrance gates of men and women, and punishing students on their clothing all laid the grounds for this recent protest gathering.
