Pipe factory workers’ protest [File Photo} Workers in the Safa Pipe Factory in the city of Saveh have gone on strike demanding their unpaid wages.
This strike began last Tuesday morning in one of the factory’s halls, with all the workers of this factory joining the strike the next day demanding their wages which have not been paid for the past six months. Fearing the spread of the workers’ strike and other pipe factory workers in this city joining the protest, factory officials promised the workers will receive one month of their wages on Wednesday. The workers however decided to continue their strike if only one month of their wages was to be paid.
