Khandan’s facebook status:   We all got extremely worried for her condition when we heard from yesterday’s report which stated Nasrin Sotoudeh’s transfer from the mutual section 209 to the individual prison section.   Today I went to the prison to meet her and if it was possible, to talk to her regarding her present physical and mental condition.

Luckily they allowed me to meet her but only informally and outside the meeting hall away from the public. Her hunger strike is ongoing and as we all could guess, she has become weaker and much thinner.   She stated that other women also were on a hunger strike and that she tried hard to stop them from doing this since they also were extremely weak.   Since I thought that the probability for me to meet her was little to none, unfortunately I did not bring her kids to meet her which on my behalf was bad. I hope that she will receive another chance to meet up with her children.   - Nasrin Sotoudeh, is an imprisoned human rights lawyer who has spent the last two years in prison, and is on her 20th day of hunger-strike
