Reports from inside Iran indicate one of the three individuals hanged Thursday in Gohardasht Prison,
west of Tehran, was sent to the gallows for confronting a regime agent. This incident had taken place on Sunday, October 21st, when inmate Sadegh Koohi confronted a prison official by the name of Ali Khadem after attacked him and insulted the prisoner before the other inmates. Reports also indicate Khadem was forced to flee the scene as a result. The mullahs’ state-run television called on the regime’s public prosecutor to execute Sadegh Koohi, resulting in his agreement. On Wednesday, Ali Khadem personally placed the rope around Koohi’s neck for the hanging.
