HRANA News Agency – 10 men who were transferred to Evin prison on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 were hanged early this morning.
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 10 men sentenced to death with charge of drug trafficking who were transferred from Ghezelhesar prison to Ward 240 of Evin prison on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 were executed this morning.
One of these prisoners is Saeed Sedighi who were sentenced to death in a 14 minutes court and insists he is not guilty.
Saeed Sedighi and nine other prisoners were scheduled to be executed on Thursday October 11, but the executions were postponed because of the international attention.
Other nine names are: Farshid Rostami, Farhad Mashhadi Abolghasem, Ali Darvishi, Abbas Abbasi Namaki, Hami Rabiei and Mohammad Ali Rabiei, Alireza Molaei, Eshagh (Isac) Lorgi, and Yousef Parmar.
The families of these prisoners have been gathered in front of the Leader's Office, several times, protesting the death sentence for their beloveds. And last night they were gathering in front of Evin prison and anti-riot guards attacked them, trying to disperse them.
