Gonabadi Dervish, Afshin Karampour Transferred To Hospital

    Gonabadi dervishes's lawyer,was taken to hospital yesterday morning.According to Majzooban reporter, jailed Gonabadi dervish in section 350 of Evin prison,

Mr.Afshin Karampour due to wound and fractured left ankle was transferred to Taleghani hospital yesterday morning on 29th Shahrivar 1391 ( Sept 19 2012 ).   It should be noted that, ten months ago, his leg was broken in Evin Prison and due to lack of timely treatment and medical attention, he was not fully treated and now, he is not able to move his painful feet normaly.   His doctor, after examination verificated that the surgery for the feet of this prisoners of conscience should have been done much earlier because there is the risk of rupture tendon and also said that physiotherapy is urgently required for him.   The lack of medical treatment to Prisoners of Conscience, especially for Dervish prisoners   by judicial authorities during the past year, has caused many problems for the Dervish prisoners:      

•Gonabadi dervish, Hamid Reza Moradi Sarvestani ,webmaster of Majzooban Noor website (Nematollahi Gonabadi Order News Site), Dervish prisoners in ward 350 of Evin prison , is suffering from heart problems and clogging of arteries which is worrisome so that even walking and standing is very difficult and painful for him now and his family is too concerned and worried about his health..   It is notable that, once he had heart attack in prison because of pressure and torture of being in solitary confinement.   Despite warnings from physicians that he needs special medical care, he has not been treated properly and unfortunately the judiciary refused to allow him leave to continue his treatment outside the prison.   And follow-up and efforts of his family to hospitalize him has been so far unsuccessful.      

 •Gonabadi dervish, Reza Entesari, journalist and member of Majzooban Noor website, Dervish prisoners in ward 350 of Evin prison, who was arrested by security forces agent attack in Majzooban Noor website office on 13th Shahrivar 1390 ( Sept 04 , 2011 ), his arms and fingers has been injured and once a surgery was done on his finger in Ghamar Banihashem hospital .   As a result of not attending by Physiotherapy, after surgery, he quickly returned to prison to continue the interrogation in section 209 of Evin prison and this caused a problem which his finger was welded crooked and he was not able to bend his finger from the joint area.   family of this prisoner of conscience have requested the prison authorities to continue treatment and repeated surgery for his hand but unfortunately the authorities in prison do not attend to his painful situation.      

 •Gonabadi dervish, Saleheddin Moradi Sarvestani, who is incarcerated for more than one year in Adel Abad prison, is suffering from kidney disease and nerve pain in the shoulder and arm .   He has endured this severe pain from several months ago and no full treatment has not been done for him yet.   It is important to say that, he had no previous history of arm and shoulders pain and he has been ill after being interrogated and sent to No.100 of Shiraz prison.   This proves that the damage is caused by physical pressure during interrogation.   *Gonabadi dervish, Kasra Nouri who has been held in Shiraz Adel Abad prison is suffering from respiratory disease due to the harsh and poor health conditions of prison.   His family's follow-up to transfer him to hospital for a full treatment under specialist doctor has been so far ineffective and only once he was taken to Shaheed Mozaffari hospital in Shiraz for a check up.      

 •Gonabadi dervish, Kasra Nouri who has been held in Shiraz Adel Abad prison is suffering from respiratory disease due to the harsh and poor health conditions of prison.   His family's follow-up to transfer him to hospital for a full treatment under specialist doctor has been so far ineffective and only once he was taken to Shaheed Mozaffari hospital in Shiraz for a check up.      

 •Gonabadi dervish, Mohammad Ali Shamshirzan, was arrested on Saturday morning in Ordibehesht 09 1391 ( April 28 , 2012 ) in Kavar, a town in Fars Province and after he was charged in Kavar court without the presence of his legal lawyer, transferred to the quarantine detention center in Shiraz and he was confined there for two days, then, has been transferred to Adel Abad prison on Tuesday 12th Ordibehest 1391 ( May 01 , 2012). Now he is in critical condition and suffering from serious lung infection and family of this prisoners of conscience tries to take him to the hospital but as usual their efforts have been ineffective.
