Kaveh Taheri Sentenced to Three Year in Prison

Kaveh Taheri the imprisoned blogger from Shiraz was sentenced to 3 year in prison and 50 million tomans bail due to two different dossiers.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this weblogger who is imprisoned in Adel Abad prison in Shiraz sentenced to 3 years imprisonment by judge Mahmoud Sadati in branch 1 of Shiraz revolutionary court on charges of propaganda against regime in benefit of subversive groups and insulting to supreme leader.

Kaveh Taheri and his lawyer objected the verdict and the dossier will be sent to provincial appealed supposedly soon.

Also this weblogger sentenced to 50 million tomans bail in another trial in Shiraz criminal court -Atlasi- on charge of insulting to sacraments.

Kaveh Taheri was arrested on September 23, 2012 by security agents. Despite of inspecting his home the agents confiscated his personal belongings such as computer H.D.D, notes and laptop.
