Iran has continued the new wave of group executions to confront erupting social protests
by hanging five others in the south-central city of Shiraz, the Herana website reported. Three of those executed were in Adel Abad Prison and two others were hanged in public in Shiraz. On Saturday, October 6th, the mullahs’ dictatorship carried out the group execution of 5 prisoners in Zahedan Prison, southeastern Iran. Following the surge of popular protests against high prices and low living conditions, and the Bazaar and people’s uprising in Tehran with slogans such as “Death to Dictator”, the Iranian regime has stepped its executions in order to create a climate of fear.
