NEW YORK, N.Y. – Thousands of people have filled a plaza near the United Nations in a protest against the Iranian regime.
Wednesday’s protest came as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the annual gathering of world leaders at the U.N. The protest includes appearances by former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich. Syrians also are protesting Iran’s support of their homeland’s regime.
