Iranian Ahwazi Arab Citizens Sentenced to Death Begin Hunger Strike

62432_435658723176356_1079095599_n.jpg Iranian Ahwazi Arab citizens who are sentenced to death: Hashem Sha'bani Nejad, Hadi Rashedi, Mohammad Ali Amouri Nejad, Jaber and Mokhtar Alboshokeh along with Rahman Asakereh who is sentenced to 30 year in prison, began hunger strike.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), quoted from Human Rights Reporters Committee, these prisoners are on hunger strike since Saturday, March 2, 2013, protesting their situation in Karoun Prison, Ahwaz. Following this action, their contact with their families has been cancelled by authorities.
