Kordpur brothers are still under arrest

 Masoud and Khosro Kordpur will be under arrest for more 2 months. Khosro Kordpur has ended his hunger strike after the requests of his family and friends.

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Khosro Kordpur who was on the hunger strike since April 20th has ended the hunger strike after the on-going requests of his family and friends.Abbas Jamali, the Kordpur brothers’ lawyer has been informed by the revolutionary court of Mahabad, while following his clients’ situation that they will be under arrest for 2 months more. One of the relatives of the Kordpur brothers told to HRANA: “It seems that the authorities want to keep them under detention till end of the presidential elections.” 

Khosro Kordpur has been arrested on March 7th in his home by the intelligence agents and Masoud Kordpur, his brother has been arrested the next day trying to find where Khosro is.

Khosro Kordpur is the administrator of the “Mokrian News Agency” publishing the human rights news in Iran.
