Committee of Human Rights Reporters – Raheleh Zakayi, female prisoner at Evin prison who had returned from furlough, was transferred to Gharchak prison on December 2nd
.According to news obtained by CHRR, inspection officers at Evin prison engaged in a confrontation with Zakayi when she returned from furlough. The officers then fabricated a report to their superiors resulting in Zayaki’s transfer to Gharchak prison.
Raheleh Zakayi who had taken part in the recent hunger strike by a group of female detainees at Evin prison, relayed in short contacts with her family that Gharchak prison in Varamin is extremely cold and her mental state is not good.
