ali-moezi.jpg.gifHRANA News Agency – Ali Moezi, one of political prisoners of Evin's Wars 350 was transferred to Ward 240 of Evin prison for Solitary Confinement because he refused to go to the court.

 

According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Moezi one of the surviving political prisoners from the 60’s have been refused to go to the court three times up to now, because he believes the Judiciary System in Iran is not justly and fair.

Prison's authorities have threatened him to exile him in a prison far away and told his family he is not permitted to visit his family for three weeks.

He was arrested on June 18, 2011, by intelligence agents who raided Ali Moezi’s house, after seizing his personal belongings. His case is in branch 15th of Tehran's revolutionary court with charges of supporting Iranian opposition group MEK and Moharebeh (enmity to God). In 2008, Ali Moezi was also arrested because of his son’s membership in one of the opposition groups.

This 59 year old political prisoner has received two surgeries for his bladder tumor and the last surgery was carried out a short time before his arrest.
